1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website plagiarismzone.com and all related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by PlagiarismZone ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, purchasing credits, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Description of Service

PlagiarismZone provides a credit-based, digital-only plagiarism similarity and AI content analysis service. Reports are advisory and are generated by automated systems combined with human review. The Service does not certify originality and is not a substitute for institutional academic review.

4. User Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information during registration.
You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

5. User Responsibilities & Acceptable Use

You must own the rights to any content you upload, or have the necessary permissions to upload it.
You may not use the Service for any unlawful purpose, academic misconduct, or to circumvent institutional review.
You may not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, resell or sublicense the Service without our written consent.
Accounts found in breach may be suspended or terminated without refund.

6. Credits, Pricing & Payments

The Service operates on a pre-paid credit model. One (1) credit is consumed per document scanned. All prices are listed in INR (₹) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. All payments are processed securely through Razorpay, our authorised online payment gateway. By making a payment you also agree to Razorpay's terms of use available at razorpay.com/terms. Credits, once purchased, are valid for the period specified on the relevant credit package at the time of purchase.

7. Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy. In summary, unused credits may be refunded within 7 days of purchase. Credits that have already been consumed are non-refundable.

8. Delivery of Service

PlagiarismZone is a digital service. No physical goods are shipped. See our Shipping & Delivery Policy for details on how digital reports are delivered.

9. Intellectual Property

All software, design, trademarks and other intellectual property associated with the Service are owned by PlagiarismZone or its licensors. You retain all rights to the documents you upload; you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process them solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability or completeness of any report generated by the Service.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PlagiarismZone, its directors, employees and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PlagiarismZone from any claim, demand or damage, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time without notice if we believe you have violated these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting support.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
